Very upset right now, my husband just told me his work is only giving him two weeks for when our son is born. It goes off of his sick leave instead of his vacation. we are bringing my parents here from Texas so they can help a bit but after they leave I have no idea how I'm going to handle a newborn and a (special needs) three year old. I feel like I have my hands full with just my daughter and our new puppy, now a baby boy. With none of my family living close enough and (no offense to my husband) his family that won't even take my daughter for more than an hour, no friends....even after living here for two years. I am feeling so overwhelmed and sad and just want to scream and cry.

I know the feeling! My oldest has severe ADHD and ODD and when my youngest was born 2 1/2 months ago, my fiance only took 2 unpaid days off because I had him on a Thursday so he took that and Friday off. Went right back to work Monday because they dont offer sick or vacation days. Neither of us have moms as they both passed years ago, I have absolutly zero family that lives close enough to help, so ever since my baby was 4 days old I did it all myself with baby, 9 year old (ADHD and ODD), dog and house while recovering from a c-section with staples. It a tough but its amazing what we can do as moms! you got this!

It's so hard. my husband's lil brother has autism as well it's hard when we go to visit and I have to watch them. Charlie has a lot of problems and am worried because the doctors are saying that they are going to have to break her hip and put her back into a full body cast for it to heal right, all this while I'm pregnant and or just had a baby

It sucks the father's should get close to what the mothers get. it's like the company's don't think the father's do much but they really do. it takes a village to raise a child not just one mother.
