Has anyone experienced back labor before? I have chronic back pain always, and it's increased with pregnancy, but today has been awful. I've had tightening in my belly with some pain, not horrid, but have been experiencing waves and constant pain up and down by back and sides. Almost like muscle spasms on steroids plus some sharpness to it.

From what I have seen on here it sounds like back labour. Especially if your stomach is tightening

@rainbowbaby2015, Eek that's what I was afraid of. 😣😣 I've never really heard a description of what the pain feels like other than absolutely horrible, lol, so I wasn't sure.

@shortizzie, I have a message in, but I'm assuming they aren't going to call back since they just closed. I'm going to give them a little longer and if I don't hear I can call my L&D department.

I would call your doctor to inform him and if the office is closed call your ob floor at the hospital. I could be wrong but that's what it sounds like
