I'm breastfeeding my daughter & I had her in August. I haven't had my first period after I had her. Any mommy's breastfeeding when did yall get your first period after birth & is it normal for your period not to come for month when breastfeeding?

@its_yazz, if you are taking any kind of additional birth control it can also cause your period to be irregular a friend of mine didn't get a normal period until she stopped breastfeeding her son at a year old.

It's different for each momma. Some will get it right after or even several months after others won't until they stop breastfeeding.

Definitely normal. I just got mine for the first time after my son turned 13 months. That's 3 months shy from 2 Years lol
