I haven't been on in a few days so I'm gonna update you guys. My daughter (she will be 4 weeks on Tuesday) was diagnosed with RSV at exactly 3 weeks of age, she had a very small cough, and was eating fine and she hadn't ran a temp or anything. I took her to the ER on the 31st of December because she was very lethargic. They sent me home because she wasn't running a fever and she "seemed" fine. I brought her in yesterday night(Jan 3rd) because her cough had gotten incredibly worse, even after getting over the 4-5 day bad hump of RSV, she had also been eating less and when she would get a good feed in, she would literally projectile vomit all of it out. So here we are admitted in the hospital with an NG down her nose/throat, because she got a decent feed in and she decided to vomit it all up. My heart is hurting so bad! So please, whatever you do to send good vibes, please do that for my Marlee.

I hope your lil one gets better soon. It sucks when as a mom you know something is wrong but the people who should help don't until things get worse. I'm glad she is being treated properly. Hope she's able to hold feeds done soon. Positive vibes being sent your way

I'm shocked they sent you home. When I brought my son into the hospital at 2 weeks old for a small fever and not eating well they checked is temp and it was normal, they did a spinal tap, blood work, and urine test. Even though they didn't find anything wrong they kept my son for 48 hours for antibiotics and observation. I'm so sorry for ignorant doctors.

@coraanne, Idk why they did either! It's a children's hospital that we are at which makes it weirder. But one of the trusted nurses was concerned about her and the doctor takes that nurses concerns seriously, so they kept us. They are keeping her another night because she still hasn't been eating very well. But she did just feed for 12 minutes which is great! So maybe we won't have to be kept another night.
