Today my life truly changed as i held my baby girl for the very first time today and i heard her cry for the very first time. A sound that six days ago i was unsure if i would ever hear.
For the first time this week i feel like i can actually sleep.. That my daughter and i can actually breath, ❤️😭

EVERYTHING changes when you have a baby in the nicu. Even if it's only for a day. We spent 50 days in one. I had already been a mom, but it's a whole different thing when your baby is sent away from you to be hooked up to various machines and whatnot.

@kimberlyyyy, it really is. You defiantly are sent back and made to wait to have all those first moments until they are ready. It is so hard but i am SO happy!
