After your water breaks, ask for minimal cervical checks. I got an infection and had a c section that could have been prevented if they had kept their germy fingers out of me.

Oh gosh I'm going to put that in. That sounds horrible :(

@mommyslittleman, did they check you w/o gloves on? look into delayed cord clamping. not bathing your child until 5-7 days after birth. What pain meds you want or ways to manage your pain. If you want baby placed directly on your chest after birth. Also include if you want nurses giving your child a bottle or pacifier. Alot of nurses think young or FTM dont know anything and just do what they please.

Do not let them give baby a bottle or paci if you plan to breastfeed. Establish good breastfeeding habits before introducing another nipple.
