when you get induced can you still get the epidural?

I was induced 😊 let's face it, having a baby is hard. regardless if you're going natural, epidural, c section. it's hard. I got pitocin dilated to a 10 within the hr, they broke my water the following hr, transitioned into active labor+pushing=4hrs. I went without an epidural and had a healthy 7.14 lb 19 inches long baby boy. I've always heard pictocin magnifies the contractions but I don't have anything else to compare it to.

how was the experience and what is pitocin?

I've been included lets just say it's no joke after the pitocin kicks in but you'll be fine
