no judgment please. so my sons been sleeping in my bed since he was born (it didnt help we were in the process of moving) And i really need to start him in his crib in his room. he is now 2months. but i keep making excuses for myself because i love him being close enough for me to just look over and check on him. any advice on how to make it easier on me and him.
My son would not sleep in his crib and it was somewhat my fault. I didn't like him being away from me. I moved the crib right next to my bed and I was still not happy. I ended up getting a baby sleeper. I swear by this thing. It was safer for my son when he was real little. I could place him in there and move it around the house and next to my bed.
Is there a reason why you're wanting to switch? As long as baby is safe, I see no issue. Actually, there are studies that support cosleeping and bed sharing. And if you're breastfeeding it makes that so much easier too.
My daughter's almost 8 months old and just now starting to sleep in her own bed. Didn't help that I am breastfeeding. It is so much easier on both of us
