Fiancé wants to get CPS and law enforcement involved regarding an issue with my exhusband and his trips with our sons to Houston.
While I have nothing to hide, I am terrified.
I don't see how a 4 year old can make something so serious up... But I almost feel like he's getting his words mixed up after hearing all sides of the story.
I'm so frustrated as a mother right now... I never thought my children would be faced with this..

Follow your heart, my children have told me some pretty horrible stuff about their dad and stepmother but I confront the situation because me and the stepmother have a relationship where we can talk openly. Not a lot of people can say they have that with the other half. Maybe sleep on it and talk about it again in the morning and see if the story changes any? Prayers for you and your little ones

Yeah they tend to get that way when they feel there loved ones have been affected in any kind of negative way. Just reassure him you want to do what is best for your family and you need him to help you do that because your under a lot of stress right now already and you understand he is as well that's why your asking him to calm down and work with you on the best options and actions to take

Getting cps involved is really never a good thing when you aren't sure , I'd say try and talk to your ex husband first and if your boys bring up whatever is supposedly going on again definitely call , sometimes cps just causes more problems getting involved

if you'r concerned about what is going on over there I'd definitely have it looked into. I saw your other post about what he was telling you and if it were me in that situation I'd call the police department just to ask them for advice, let them know that you aren't sure if what you think is going on really is going on. they will tell you your options and give you references. good luck to you, I couldn't imagine how difficult this could be for you.
