It is just fine to get a tattoo in early pregnancy. I had mine finished when i was 6 weeks with Drs approval. The main concern is the possibility of infection. While pregnant your immune system isn't working at its fullest and there are limited antivirals you can take. Besides that most artists won't tattoo a pregnant woman. I was up front with mine and knew my risks, but i will say i don't think it healed as well as my others.

It is perfectly OK to get a tattoo while pregnant, it is not recommended because the ink may not take or as stated above the possibility of infection. I got one of mine while I was pregnant and the tattoo was faded so much by the end of the pregnancy I wouldn't recommend getting one yet

I've known some girls who got them while pregnant and we're fine. but there's always the risk of infection. I really want to finish my sleeve (and my bf is the tattoo artist) but I decided to wait, just in case.

It's really the risk of infection that people worry about. Most tattoo/piercing shops won't do either anyway while you're pregnant. It's a huge liability.

an ob told u it was fine smh the ink can harm your baby they should not be an ob if they told u it would be OK especially if the tattoo person doesn't have a clean set up u can also get infected with something an that too will harm child
