I know I'm only 23 weeks today but I was wondering. When my baby is born how long should I wait…

usually a month once they get their one month shots that's what I was always told

they only give your child one or two shots when there born but u have to wait till she's seen by her doctor for her month to get the rest that protect her but good Luck

The only vaxx they get in the hospital is the Hep B

You don't have to wait if you don't want to. It's up to you - you're the parent. We took my son out to eat when he was 10 days old. He slept the entire time. We took him to the store around the same time too. He's a human, doesn't need to be locked away from the world. It's all about your comfort level.

I honestly don't even get that one. I wait until about 14 weeks to start shots. My children aren't in any environment where they may contract Hep B, so I have no worries.

I know hun just helping u out an don't take advice from people ,who clearly don't care if a new born baby gets sick from taking them out to early yes u are the parent but its risky to take a baby around alot of people when there imunsystem is really low

@mommabre2, I know I'm not mad at you or anything lol I mean my birthday is on a Saturday and I can wait until she gets her shots to do something I was also asking cause now I have a medically necessary excuse not To have a hundred people over when she's born lol

We went to a small family restaurant and Walgreens. No one touched my baby as he was in his car seat. My son's pediatrician said it's just fine, so does the above article. He's now 3 months old and has yet to be sick.

yeah I get u hun well its all in your hands I come from a family of medicals so they always told me to be safe about it my first child I waited till he had his one month check up then I brought him out I plan to do the same with this little girl too I just don't play risk especially cuz u just never know people don't cover there mouths when they sneeze shit spreads an I rather my child safe then anything but that's just me 😀
