I know it's only been 4 days since my baby was born and that's probably why I still don't have a better milk supply yet but is there anyway to speed it up? He's always hungry (duh) and I just can't get anything more out:(😭

Just feed on demand, your body will do everything it's supposed to! What makes you think you don't have enough?

he will make you make more. just keep putting him to the boob and your milk supply will come in to cater to his needs. if you need more milk I use fenugreek pills. they work wonders but ask your doctor first. ny milk took like 6 days to fully come in.

By eating all the time he is establishing your supply! Let him nurse as often as he wants! The first 4 to 6 weeks it seems like all they want to do is eat!! It gets easier! Hang in there!

him eating so often doesn't mean you don't have milk that's all normal and will help build your supply when it's the first few days you won't see alot but baby is getting milk just let him eat every time he wasn't some

@breastmilkmama, has the right idea you need to consume twice as many calories as you can... the more you eat and the more water you drink the better it comes in... just be careful what you because what you it tour baby eats

He has a tongue tie and my nipples are on the verge of bleeding. (Almost) Still can't figure out the latch so I try to pump anything I can so he can eat but I don't know😑@audranb87 @breastmilkmama @bria.k @mrsmoore

My LO doesn't have a tongue tie(that I know of) but she does have a very small mouth. And for the first month it was trying to just grin and bear it, because my nipples were sore, cracked, and bleeding. But use the lanolin(or whatever it's called) and let your nipples get as much air as they can. Also coconut oil(organic) works, I've heard. If you can walk around topless, that would be good. Or sleep topless. You may leak, so have a towel. It does get better. I would seek out a lactation consultant who may be able to help. Also there is absolutely NO shame in switching to formula. There is no harm to your baby, so if that's what happens you are still a great mom and you did nothing wrong. ❤

if you do end up having to switch to formula it's no shame at least baby is still getting to eat but if you do choose to supplement Gerber makes a supplementing formula specifically designed for that.
