My mammas constantly chokes on her milk when she's laying down & doesn't make any noise of alert at…

I would try sitting her up a little at an angle to feed instead of laying down flat. also it could be acid reflux which can get really bad when baby is laying down to feed or right after feeding.

I always feed her sitting up :/ and because of my c section I sleep sitting up a bit so I breastfeed her that way too. idk why she constantly does this. it terrifies me. @mdomke22

Reflux could cause that. He's she seem to be in pain when it happens?

Meant to say does she but I think you understood... Some babies just spit up. I had this discussion with my son's pediatrician because he's a preemie and he does it quite frequently. But I agree with what @mdomke22 said. Next time you see your baby's doc make sure to bring up the spit up thing. In the mean time just watch her when she eats. Maybe try to burp her more often.

my son did that so I let him sleep and in my arm & sometimes I still couldn't tell he was choking because it was so silent so I set alarms like every hour and barely slept.

I started feeding him 2 hours earlier before bed & just give him a bath & then he'd be out with no problem

my son had acid reflux really bad so we tried everything if you ever have questions but also find a small pillow nothing too big but something to prop her head up when she's sleeping so she just won't be flat on her back

feeding sitting up could cause that because shes not quite got the hang of her swallowing if shes less then a week

try holding under her head close to her neck so her head tilts back instead of forward
