This pregnancy has been pretty rough on me. I'm a first time mom and when I was born I weighed 1 pound 13 oz I had 3 holes in my heart and was also a twin. My twin passed away approximately 24 hours after we we're born, my mom never knew she was pregnant with twins and didn't even realize she was in labor with us when she was. I was in the NICU until I was 5 months old and even then I was very small, I wore doll clothes and slept in a shoe box. I have a patch on my heart and I sometimes have trouble catching my breath. During this pregnancy, I was in and out of the hospital for cramping during the first 3 months because I thought my body was rejecting the baby or that something was seriously wrong, I was also very worried that she would come early. My wonderful girlfriend has been such a huge part in this because she is our daughter and we were so ecstatic to find our we were having a girl too :) Now that I'm almost to the due date I've been having braxton hicks contractions that had me in the hospital a few weeks ago. We just have to wait a little longer for our princess to be here and I know she won't stay in there for the next 8 weeks. My girlfriend has been so awesome during it all and I don't know what I would do without her, yes we have our ups and downs and we've had a pretty rough year but in the end I wouldn't change it for the world. We are having our little miracle baby soon and I can't imagine how wonderful of a Mommy A she'll be :)
