Thanks you very much ladies for this informative question and post. I have been reading a little about the things you should prepare but really had no idea how to go about setting up a plan. 🤗Feeling enlightened.
@ash1987, sounds simple to do.. .y husband and i have talked about what we want and what changes to do if things dont go as we talked... i guess i just have to put it on paper n see if we get it approved.
@mommabear05, I have one. my doctors office had a "birth plan sheet" that they make up that I used or you can Google examples and type one up. basically it's asking like what kind of birth you want during and after. who you want and don't want there in the hospital. do you plan to breastfeed or bottle feed.. do you plan to do natural birth, water birth or have any pain medicine...things like that. my birth plan got approved for what I asked and I was able to add things too after I submitted it.
@mommabear05, my first was amazing and empowering! Don't get me wrong--it was painful--but I feel like it was a different kind of pain! It was so nice to move around however I wanted and get up and shower not long after having him! I'm hoping this time goes as smoothly! ❤️
Yup! :) @peaceinfall try a little lavender essential oil on a cotton ball and bring it with in a ziplock bag. Then you can take some sniffs as needed and seal it and it won't fill the whole room ;) or they have essential oil diffuser necklaces!

I wanted lavender candles because it promotes calm and lavender oil in my nose and wrists with calming music. But they said I have to think about the nurses and their allergies. I can have my music tho 😶
