are babies supposed to double their weight by 2 months or 6 months? i know my daughters just an infant but i worry about obesity because it runs on my moms side of the family and im overweight myself...i know with a healthier lifestyle i could drop all the weight because ive done it before, its just gotten hard for me.

Oh yeah definitely don't worry. my daughter was 5lbs 13 oz when she was born & by 2 months she was 12 lbs. she'd about to go for her 4 month check up & I'm sure she's about 15 or 16 lbs now. but her doctor doesn't have any concerns. I'm sure she's fine... they don't tend to monitor obesity until after age 2 I believe

Jj was just about 15 pounds when he was four months he going to be 6 months in a couple days ...when he was born he was 7 pounds 1oz then up to 13 or 14 pounds at 2 months.
