Buy a belly band because I KEPT asking the hospital for one and no one gave me anything. I was upset. Didn't have money to buy my own. The c section is weird. They say you'll feel pressure but it probably won't be the same as you think. I thought recovery was better after m c section than after my vaginal birth. They'll probably want you to get up sooner then you're ready to. I told the nurse I wasn't ready & almost passed out when I tired getting up anyway. You'll be sore for a week or two. Tell the staff if you're in pain and they'll hook you up with meds that will help. I took myself off norcos within the first week. The only time I hurt was when I tried sitting up, so use the hospital bed to your advantage.

The procedure itself isn't bad, it is the aftermath of it that's painful. At least that was my experience. Good luck mama

My sister said your numb but when they are "cleaning you out" it feels like someone's doing dishes in your belly. lol. no pain though
