i swore i was having contractions because they woke me up out my sleep
well 6 hours later at the hospital and they said it was just gas
I've never experienced that kind of gas pain before

Could be since your intestines are all squished. Maybe a Braxton Hicks contraction? They don't last long...

they were like every 10 then 5 then 7 then 15 minutes apart

ok maybe not Braxton Hicks. Are you feeling OK? My midwife says no more than 6 Braxton Hicks in an hour or it could be go time.
