Hubs wants to get a pit puppy to grow up with Briston, but I don't know how I feel about it :/ I love pitbulls, always have! But as with all dogs there's always a chance of something happening, and I don't know if I'm comfortable with getting ANY dog or any more animals for that matter until he's older.

if you get it as a pup they will grow up together. that dog will go to the end of the world and back to protect him against anyone the dog feels is dangerous to him. plus babies that grow up with an animal get sicker less on average than kids who don't.

my son (my son is 15 months) has a dog, and now 2 puppies. Its so beautiful how they get along. I was scared too but when I go to the restroom and I leave my son sleeping on the bed the dog just stays next to him and if he wakes up the dog starts barking so I can come back to the room. its a big help.
