I know this doesn't have much to do with pregnancy but I'm kind of annoyed... Last May I ended up getting let go from a very very good job because the boss at one of the 2 offices I worked at had issues with me for some reason and I have no idea why, I was a really hard worker. Towards the end of my time there I was a bit slower and having a hard time doing everything quickly because that was when I had just gotten pregnant and I didn't know yet and that was one of her main complaints I guess... anyway... she got fired shortly after I did because I won the case with the union and apparently that was the last straw for her and they tried to offer me my job back but I have no proof of that. I never got a call and I don't think I even got an email and I'm annoyed because the union is saying this to my husband who works there as well and if I would have known I would have been able to keep working (well as best I could being pregnant) and hubby and I would have avoided all our financial issues over the summer and we would be way better off right now 😩😞

ugghhhh that sux! I have to say in greatful my job had a wonderful maturnity plan, and they are very welcoming towards family stuff like pregnancy! we even Hewett offered extra time off if we need it before the baby turns 1!is awesome

@ehamp86, The thing is I didn't find out I was pregnant until after I got let go and I know if I would have known sooner I could have used that in my defense... I'm just so aggravated because if I could have kept that job for as long as possible things would be so much better right now, no worries. The job isn't exactly the greatest for a pregnant woman to do because it involves a lot of heavy lifting, being on your feet constantly, and the use of all sorts of cleaning chemicals but I would have stuck it out for as long as I could because the pay was so good. 😒

@ehamp86, yeah I know, everything happens for a reason but if what they say is true and they did try to offer me my job back, maybe after my son is born I can try to get back in when I'm ready.
