sometimes I wish my bf wasn't my daughter's father... and that my best guy friend was her father. he's been there for her and me so much more then him. even tho we live together and I do anything to show that I love him. all he does is play video games drink and go out with friends and have me pick him up at 3 am with our 4 month old daughter, he didn't even spend new years with us because he wanted to go with he's friends. I wonder if he ever thinks about her wellbeing..... sometimes I consider taking up on my friends offer of moving in with him so he could help me out. but I love my bf and I never want to lose him,so it's tearing me apart to even think about leaving him.... but I do have to think about my Lil girl and what's best for her.... I don't know what to do anymore.........

Tell your bf what's really up ... my opinion is that you and your daughter need the best! so do what you need to do

I agree with @120415kittykatt. you need to think about what's best for your daughter and yourself. I would tell him that what he's doing isn't okay anymore, and tell him that there needs to be serious changes. If he doesn't care or change, I would take up your friend and move in with them. you have to think about what you want your daughter to witness. think about the example you want to set for her, and whether or not you would want your daughters boyfriend treating her how your boyfriend treats you. because you are the example to her on what is okay and what is not. as hard as it is because you love him, you have to love him enough to tell him what he's doing is not okay. letting him do things that aren't good for him, you or your daughter isn't what's best for him. Sometimes the truth can hurt and the choices that we need to make are painful but you have to do the right thing regardless.
