Okay so this is probably going to be a tough post for some people. I'm 25 weeks with baby #2 and I'm a bartender and cocktail server 40-50 hours a week. With my first child I did the same thing as well as a second job.. With that being said I had zero energy and needed something to keep pushing through. So I okay'd it with my doctor for an occasional energy drink and he basically told me as long as my caffeine intake is less then the recommended amount it didn't matter where I got my caffeine from... With this baby I get worried working as much as I do and having a red bull with each shift... However it's the only caffeine I have all day.. I've just heard so many women swearing it's bad for the baby.

An 8.4-ounce serving of Red Bull, for instance, has a relatively modest 76 to 80 mg of caffeine, compared to the 95 to 200 mg in a typical cup of coffee, the Mayo Clinic reports.Aug 26, 2013
Doctors say 200 MG is the daily limit. I think you're ok. I have one cup of coffee everyday. I wouldn't be able to function if I didnt.
