@nelianiz.elize any 100% juice is fine, start it out at 1 oz juice and 2 oz of water though, until baby gets used to it. Also, my son refuses to drink cold juie lol. I have to put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. My son is now almost 7 months old and I give him 4 oz of juice, 1 oz of water. But I always just give him one bottle of juice a day.
@nelianiz.elize sorry for the late response, I'm at work. but actually it will not make them hyper. it is NATURAL sugar in 100% juice, which is no where near as bad as the added sugar. the best 2 juices for a baby are carrot juice & prune juice. not a ton of sugar in either, but prune juice has a ton of fiber in it (which is great) and carrot juice has a ton of antioxidants in it (which is also great) I also give my son apple juice. Sorry about all these misinformed parents out here saying juice is bad! Unless 3 diff doctors lied to me about it! lol, give that baby some juice :)
I didn't give my son anything besides BM till he was 12 months. The doctor recommended around 6 months and can only be 4 ounces because babies really don't need juice that young unless they are constipated. it will make them really hyper because their tiny little bodies can't handle it.
