my son used his rock & play for the longest time beside my bed. it's not too big, and they can face you so when you get up to feed it's not so painful to move around!

that's what I did with both of my kids. pack and plays are a godsend

I bought a pack n play. It will last longer. Bassinets are cute but will only function for a couple of months

if you get the pack & play , make sure it has the bassinet part, those are also really helpful.

no, she's going to be in our room until 1 years old , I cook on the side so pack and play in the living room and I do taxes, so bassinet in the office, crib in our bedroom

We are getting a bassinet, pack n play, and crib for multiple different purposes, but having the pack n play serves a lot of different purposes. You can move it around & have it in an area closer to you, they come with a mobile, bouncer, and changing tables lots of times & they are adjustable just like the crib. :)

Totally understand! 😊 I'm getting the bassinet only because we frequently camp in our camper beginning around April (when I'm due) & our pack and play can't fit by our bed, but the bassinet is small enough to fit. I originally wanted just the bassinet for the compactness but then I remembered my boyfriend was 11 pounds when he was born & my child is going to be born the size of a full grown toddler 😂😂😂
