Ok mommies, what did you pack in your hospital bag for baby? For yourself? Anything you packed that you just did not need? Anything you wish you absolutely should have packed? Answers Please!!!!!!
don't pack anything unnecessary. I packed a total of 5 bags. and only used one. the main thing that helped me was yoga pants & my own gown . don't worry too much about what you'll look like, this is birth not a beauty pagent. and ofcorse i needed my pillow and blanket . You'll need your toiletries . some house slippers , baby only really needs clothes ( but what mama doesn't come prepared for every and any thing ) . hubby's normally just have their grocery bag with their stuff because men don't require the things we do .
@momwife1316 and @xomerimanxo thank you so muchhhhh! That helps ALOT!!!!!!! Now I can start this packing!
Im going to ask if I can bring a scented candle or something. hate the smell of the hospital room lol
packed three outfits for her. i packed a pair of slippers, socks, 2 robes, phone charger, tooth paste, tooth brush, maternity underware, my insurance card, id, pads (for the bleeding), nipple pads, and im sure im missing a lot ill check after i get out of this tub and let you know
don't pack diapers.. the hospital should give you what they have left in the room. including some things to help healing like pads and medical spray. they will also have receiving blankets and hats. pack pillows and or more blankets if your so is staying in your room. my hubby had to sleep on their stupid chair thing and he didnt enjoy it. bring something you can play music with maybe to relax or even a book/kindle if you're stuck waiting.. I brought my own pillow, clothes, 2 baby outfits, phone chargers, binky, no need for undies cuz they'll probably give you mesh ones to wear. Shampoo, deoderant, lotion, chapstick, snacks for SO or whoever is with you. They will need extra clothes too. my baby was small so I also had a carseat insert too. she was almost too small for even that. um.. idk. I think that's all I brought. most things were given to me there. maybe nipple shield if you feel you may be breast feeding and have difficulties.
These are a great help @abella1023 especially the first chart, and I'm trying desperately not to over pack @trista, you all have helped so much, I was really lost on what to pack, but I think I'll be much better off now! 😊😊😊 thank you!!!
