I'm 39 weeks and my doctor wants to induce me, and honestly I want to as well. However, I keep reading about all the risks that comes with being induced and that it raises your chances of having a c-section. Anyone have any positive induction stories to help ease my mind?

I was induced with my first it wasn't bad I was in labor 24hrs I slept thru 12 of them I was on oxygen I don't know why I was too tired and I realized I was wearing a mask when it was time to push. my son is super healthy he is now 3. but I will say its different for everyone. I was also only dilated to 2cm and I was about 20% effaced so I wasn't all that ready but he was low on water which is why I was induced.

That's one of the reasons why I am scared. I haven't dilated at all, and the baby is dropped really low. That's partly why they want to induce, but the fluids still look good, they are ultimately leaving it up to me since she's really healthy.

I got induced at 39 weeks with my youngest and she came out perfectly healthy and she's a happy healthy 3 year old
