why are animals clingy to a pregnant woman? my mother's dog will not leave me alone!

Some people say the closer to labor you get the more clingy they are. No idea of its true or not though 😋

My dog has been with me since she was 6 weeks old and now all the sudden she doesn't even want to eat if I'm not sitting with her or go potty if I don't take her.
