What other pain medications besides the epidural can they give you? I'm so freaked out about the epidural so I'm really not considering it at all

It's scary just to think about the pain but I just feel (in my opinion) I'll have a stronger bond with my baby. I'll only try for as long as I can and if I can't take it then I'll reconsider @ms.spencer18
when me and my husband do have another baby I wanna go natural, or water birth but I'm so scared of how bad the pain will be. with our first daughter I had an epidural and with out youngest I had c section
I guess I'm feeling brave lol I just wanna see how far along I can do it natural I know once ur about to be 7cm they won't put the epidural on you anymore so I'm gonna try till then and if I can't handle it I'll most likely get it. My mom had all 3 of us (my sister brother and I) natural so I just wanna see if I also can. @lillady
@babyadam, You don't want to feel that pain you don't no how long your going to be in labor the after birth oh lord I would never ever do that again

@lillady, u kno I didn't really cuz was very high...after dey gave it 2 me...I started 2 vomit & went n labor...soon after dat he came out(had my son in da chair)but never again.
it doesn't hurt compared to what's gonna be happening to ur land down under I say it's maybe a 5 on a scale to 10
When I went in they gave me something for pain in an IV, I honestly can't tell you the name of it, I know that sounds bad, but it made me feel just super sleepy and.....high pretty much. So I know there are other options, but I did get the epidural so.
@jaycenumber1fan, U like that better I don't care for morphine that shit get u high I have real low tolerance for meds
The epidural is the only thing that works if u don't want to feel anything
Well 4 me, didn't want an epidural...got morphine instead.
You can always ask before hand I forgot what they offer lol
It freaked me out too but once you are in labor you won't care haha
