labor and delivery 😞 went to my check up today and doctor is worried I may have toxemia .

I had it with my son. if you have it they will take him now to avoid further complications. and they may put both you and baby on antibiotics. how far along are you? I was a month and a half early.

my blood pressure was high at my check up so doctor sent me to labor and delivery to be monitored and have blood test taken to see if I have toxemia which is also like preclampsia @btitt09

I'm 36 weeks now I don't think I have it bc my blood pressure is down now just waiting on results for blood test . @anichole083113

that's great news! its not fun. I hope the best for you. keep the stress away. it doesn't help. and keep a close eye on your bp from now on because I didn't and me and baby were both very sick at birth. he was just over a week when I got to hold him for the first time and I had a week long stay in the hospital. 3 days in ICU. not trying to scare you. everyone is different. if you keep close eye on it you should be fine. good luck!
