afternoon mummy's! Any of you had scans at 36 weeks? what did your baby's weigh then & then weigh at birth x

aww no bless her she may just need the extra 3 weeks to grow. I don't think that's on tbh. they say babys grow in the last 3 weeks. x

I had one today at 36+1 and estimated weight was 5lb. They're inducing me next week. I think that's crazy because there will be another 3 weeks until my due date, so if they left it...She would be perfectly average I think lol. I don't know why they expect babies to be so big these days x

Yeah I agree @tuftyturtle when I was born I was 6lb 12oz and that was a average weight now they worry so much it makes us mums stressed! my first was 5 lb 5oz at 40+6 and she was absolutely fine healthy etc. my estimated weight yesterday at 36+5 was 6lb 2oz and they said that's fine and I no longer need scans x

I don't know what's going on at the moment. I've had scans weekly since 30 weeks and fortnightly between 20 and 30 weeks because they think baby is small. But she always seems to match the average estimated weight I see online. Plus some of these weights of 6lb + at 36 weeks...Surely that's normal. lots of babies are born at 40 ish weeks weighing around 6lb and are perfectly fine. In fact back when I was born 6lb something was totally average for a due date baby. are they just expecting all people to have massive babies these days.

me was estimated at 6 pounds 9 at 36 weeks 2 days I have another scan tomorrow at 37 weeks 2 days as they don't think he's getting what he needs now xx

I had one at 35weeks and they said he was about 4lbs 13oz

@mummytobex,I think that's pretty good growth in 3 weeks! but then I'm no medical expert haha

36+2 my little one was weighing 5lb something.. Estimated delivery weight of 6lb odds (7lb at most) xx

At my 34 week scan they said she's weighing roughly 4lb 12oz but it's only a guesstimate. You really can't put too much stock into growth scans. My aunt was having growth scans with her middle child. The hospital kept telling her he was underweight and would be lucky to be born over 6lb. She went into labour 1 day after her due date, so basically on time, and he weighed 9lbs 9oz. Small my fucking ass. He looked like a bloody sumo wrestler. He didn't fit newborn. He squeezed in 0-3 for like 2 weeks lol

at my 33 week one he was 4lb 12oz and today at 36+5 he was 6 pound 2oz. my first was 5 lb 5oz at 40+6. aww okay thank you #tuftyturtle xx

I had one at 34 weeks and she was estimated to weigh just over 4lb. I have another one tomorrow at 36 weeks so will let you know!
