So I decided to go with tubal ligation! I'm still a little nervous about it but the nurse practitioner at my dr office eased much of that for me today! Any recommendations on what I should bring differently in my hospital bag this time around? I've packed all my usual stuff but was curious as to anything I might not be thinking of with the ligation in mind.

From what she said it's pretty non-invasive, normally outpatient, and now they normally do it while you're still in the hospital. Normal recovery guidelines are the same as vaginal delivery, only you'll be slightly more sore where they do the incisions. I've had an all natural birth, so a couple sore incision sites aren't really a big deal to me.

I've been really considering this too. do you mind me asking what things the PA covered that helped ease your mind?
