My daughter had the same problem 2 weeks ago. The doctor said breast milk 2-3 times a day and warm wet cloth compresses. She's only 6 weeks old now. So it is totally safe. The doctor said breast milk helps ear infections to. It's amazing what our body's can do..

yeah id def ask doctor before putting anything in her eye

@lifewith_two thank you I will definitely ask her doc next week when we see him.

I did breast milk and warm wash cloth and it helped but her left eye would get irritated, so had to do ointment. now she's 4 month's and it's getting better, I just rub her eye after every bath.

@lifewith_two when I 1sr saw her pediatrician that's he said to dobthe warm water on a wash cloth. @abelsmama I'm not breast feeding.but one of my friends mentioned I should try that as well
