I've always been a little late on my period but once I hit 12 days late I knew it was set to take a pregnancy test. Yup both positive. I'm going to be a 25 year old unwed mother. It really doesn't bother me at all, I've always wanted to be a mom, but I know it will bother my dad that I'm not married when I got pregnant. I showed my boyfriend the test and he just hugged me. I know he's freaking out but that's ok because so am I. He kissed my stomach last night and my heart just melted. I set up an appointment for next week to get tested at an actual doctors place and I just wish it was sooner so I could tell my parents mainly my mom. Any advice on brand new moms??

If marriage is a big concern for your family do what I did a small ceremony it was quick and inexpensive and when you're both ready do something bigger if you feel the need .. My first pregnancy I wasn't married when I lost her we decided it was best before we tried again and the following days after I found out I was pregnant again
