My LO slept 8 hours straight last night at 5 weeks old!😄
I lay him on my knees & interact with him. if he's been asleep for a few hours I wake him up so he will be more tired & sleep longer at night. like today he got up at 7am, took a nap from 8:30-11 & has been up since & now its 2:30 here.
@fancy.shattuck, how do you keep him awake!? If my LO is tired he will pass out no matter what. Loud noise. Music. People talking. Toys. Anything. He doesn't care! 😂😂
@emteebee Carter woke up the other morning at 5am because he was constipated & he screamed for 2 hours but after going he zonked out for another 3 hours
@camdensmama my son doesn't really drink his bottles warm so at night I let him have a warm one & give him straight breast milk. throughout the day though he gets a mix of BM & formula. also I make him stay awake during the day at least for a few hours then let him nap then wake him up again right before dark. now he sleeps from about 11pm-7am.
I'm not going to lie, she didn't sleep at four weeks either through the night. Maybe about 3 hours at the most. We are sick right now from family at Christmas being sick so I thought that had something to do with it. Yesterday was the first time. Is he constipated? My daughter was barely eating and she was constipated. @camdensmama
What's your secret!? My LO is 4 weeks and I can barely get him to sleep through 2-3 hours! He wakes up acting like he's starving. But I also can't get him to eat more then 4oz at a time!
she will definitely wake up if she's hungry! I was just surprised he actually slept all night with being so young @emteebee
Rilee does the same thing but we're sick so I was like omg, wake up to eat baby
last night was the first night he slept but I also know if he's hungry he will wake up on his own. night before last he slept for 6 hours @emteebee
@camdensmama,
