so yesterday morning i had a bloody show... and all last night i had really bad cramps and back pain which i think were contractions so i timed them but they never became regular or got anymore painful. I woke up this morning because i fell wet so i got up and could barely walk and while walking to the toilet i felt like i was peeing on myself. when i wiped i had another huge gush of mucus and darkish red blood. Im not sure if it could have been my water or just the mucus that made me feel like im peeing😣 Help!! FTM

it also doesn't have to be a gush of water when my water broke I was only dripping for a couple hours and then more and more started to come out

Mucous plug can be watery but it will not gush continuously like you're describing. when you completely lose your plug it will be like a big lump of discharge, kind of like snot. what you're describing is water rupture, that happened with my first son. I thought I was just peeing myself but couldn't stop, you've gotta go or at least call l&d and describe to them what's going on but I guarantee they will tell you to go in.

That's your water, you NEED to go in. if it feels like you're continuously peeing yourself and have no control over it, go.
If you don't start feeling contractions getting regular in a couple hours I would go in so they can check you.
They won't send you home with ruptured water, but if you go in before active labor starts they will push you to let them give you pitocin, which I promise you don't want unless you absolutely need it to start labor.
i was negative for that test so im going to wait a little while and hopefully they become regular and more painful@dazeofzayne that way i will know its the real deal

Sounds like your water broke. Call the hospital and ask them if you should come in, if you don't have to be on antibiotics for strep b, you can hangout at home until contractions start getting regular.
