take some Tylenol if you haven't already. lots of liquid. if no change of fever within is say about a half an hour or so er. and I had a very bad sinus infection couple months ago. had to take an antibiotic. but didn't need an er at the time.

I've been taking Tylenol since yesterday I just looked at my throat and there's white pockets I think it's strep 😕

yup. definitely. I tend to get that about once or twice a year. you'll definitely want to see a doctor whether it's a walk in or er. they'll want you on an antibiotic as soon as possible and probably want to check to make sure the baby isn't in distress. so make sure you do kick counts and that the counts and time doesn't take longer than normal.

My fiancé said he'll take my to the ER but he's already otw to work so I'll have to wait till he gets off and I'm 20 weeks I have a hard time feeling kicks i usually feel her when she's moving positions

@sarahfudge, 102 is when I would go to ED. Try taking temp once more and if it's still high and you're due for another dose of tylenol 650 mg take that and try cooling measures in addition like an ice pack on forehead and see if that works. If still running temp go to ED. I worked as an ER nurse for a bit before ICU and that's exactly what they're gonna do. If they think you have strep then you would be given abx. I suggest getting flu shot if you haven't before once fever resolved and you're better. Good luck and feel better.

I say go now. My midwife told me that when a pregnant person has a fever the baby feels everything that you feel. So if you are burning up with a fever so is the little one.
