My nurse said it's not supposed to hurt and If it lasts for an hour than to go to the hospital

Braxton hicks contraction can hurt. I mean the lower your child gets the more they're pressing on your cervix which is really the part that actually hurts. and sometimes the extreme tightness from a connection as well which is what I get.

Girl , they get worse ! Real labor contractions are the worsttttt!

@prettybrown4268, trust me I know. this is my second. the first was 9lbs 10oz. but the Braxton hicks never hurt like this with the first.

I'm terrified! I had aweful Braxton hicks pain on Christmas while I was at work that lasted near the whole damn day but ob was so busy they wouldn't ever hook me up until the end of my 12 hour shift😡 by that time of course they lightened up and was like you're fine you can go home and I'll see you tomorrow for your fourth 12 hour shift in a row this week😒 Oh and I work at the hospital, just in a different department

Maybe you should get checked out then just to be safe ..

@maceysmommy, youd think theyd be more accommodating to you! goodness. is there a labor and delivery portion of the hospital that you can call? they might have you come in.

@prettybrown4268, oh no im fine. its just extremely uncomfortable. amd definitely not looking forward to labor of its worse than this.
