so tomorrow I have an ultrasound which my mother and MIL are both going to. me and her son are going through a divorce but she's still supportive. well I told my mom after the ultrasound I was going to have lunch with MIL. and she got really offended! my mom is here with me everyday and I just wanted to spend some alone time with my MIL. especially without the awkwardness of my mom being there being protective of me because of the divorce. why is she acting this way? how do I make her get over it? it's not a big deal I hate how offended she was by it
