My baby had that done because she wasn't gaining weight and they were adding it as extra calories. unless your doctor advised you with a certain amount then you can if not then don't you could give her tummy problems, constipation, or worse.
yes I had to with my first she was in the hospital for a week after born and i wasnt always there to feed her so i pumped while there and they mixed it when i wasnt and when i was there to feed her
