Which is a dumb question because the majority of people in Latin countries are dark skinned... I am mixed black and Salvadoran, but my family is only light after being raped by colonizers, so....people are just dumb lol and unlearned

lol my oldest is really dark! They ask if she has any Mexican Indian. Don't worry it will be such a beautiful color, she gets compliments all the time especially in the summer she tans really nice.

I am full Puerto Rican, and if you look at my family we fit in all colors lol. I am white looking with Green eyes, and so are my 2 brothers. My mother has blue eyes. I have uncles that are typical Latino looking and I also have cousins, uncles and aunts that are dark skinned. Latinos come in all colors. The picture is myself before getting pregnant

@mango44, it hurts me when people make fun of my brown skin and call me names and I'm anxious about how my child will feel.

if you instill in your child a sense of self, beauty, & confidence, that type of stuff will roll right off their back. society taught black people to be ashamed of being black, & the media reinforces that still today. to be frank, people risk getting skin cancer for what's NATURALLY in our skin. so you nor your child should never be afraid of BLACK. flaunt your melanin bc mfs would kill to have some. get in touch with your roots.

I'm 100% Puerto Rican and my SO is black , I hate when ppl say that line like it aggravates my soul , Puerto Ricans can be as white as snow ( albinos) or as black as charcoal (afro Puerto Ricans) and everything in between.. those are just the ignorant ppl who think that way
