so disappointed and frustrated! went to Labor and delivery last night because my contractions were 4 minutes apart and my doctor told me to come in. I stay there for 6 hours and they kept checking me and said that I had only gone from 2 cm dilated to slightly over 3 cm dilated and from 80 percent effaced to 90 percent effaced. they said they would have admitted me if I was 4 or 5 cm. I feel terrible for keeping my mom and boyfriend up all night for nothing. even though the doctors says I'm okay to have my baby and he'll be healthy they won't induce or help me get further because of my gestation. which has been off by a week or two the whole time anyways. if I make it to term I will have a 10 pound baby. they did a total of 3 vaginals on me which caused me to bleed which they said is a good thing because it means my cervix is changing. I was wondering if the nurse could've swept my membranes...?
