it's 6 weeks. We waited longer. and rarely have sex. I'm not interested. My hormones are crazy because of breastfeeding.

and you will if you have stitches or a 2nd degree tear. You won't want to mess with sex after having pain when you sit for that whole six weeks.

Literally 6 weeks by this time I didn't bleed for about 1.5 weeks and I felt fine so why not but other things did go down only because my poor husband lol

6 weeks. That's when my doctor gave me the go ahead. Didn't want to risk infection. I was bleeding up until this point and had zero sex drive at all. All I can say is OUCH. Wish I would have waited longer. 11 weeks pp now and it still hurts like hell.
