so my dog nipped at my baby today. he didn't make contact. my husband was eating. and eddison was on ground and got close to him. I don't know what to do. he's a yorkie. I love my dog. but he can't do that.... I don't care any situation. if he would of bit him I don't know... advice. he's always scared of baby running from him when eddison chases him. but he acts like he likes him to like gives him kisses sometimes. . advice please. Should I try to keep them away from each other.or?? I mean eddison is 9 months so Hes not new

Keep them separated. Only together when there's extreme supervision. Treat your dog when he's by baby and behaving so he associates baby with positive rewards. If it continues, personally I wouldn't keep the dog not knowing if he will attack or not. Give him some time for adjusting, but if with 4-6 months of training I would reevaluate how the situation is.

obedience training. also keep them separate especially if food is involved. don't get rid of your dog itll be okay. teach him to leave the dog alone as well unless youre right there. but if your dog runs from him hes scared of him so definitely keep them separate. as your son gets older itll probably get better. i have a dog who is scared of babies but once they're older hes fine
