I have a question. I got blood work done at my regular physician because my OB hasn't taken blood out since August and I wanted to check my levels up. My liver enzyme was found a bit high.. Is this normal during pregnancy? Also, my cholesterol was on the high side as well but LDL and HDL were normal.. I've never had high cholesterol or anything at all before in my blood work. Also WBC and mucus in my urine.. Does this sound normal to you at all? 🙏🙏

Are you vomiting a lot? Cause extreme vomiting during pregnancy can cause increase in your liver enzyme and your ldl and hdl is your cholesterol. And you said it's normal. I too have slightly up and down cholesterol but I eat healthy and I'm not overweight. Sometimes it's genetics. Elevated wbc in urine can be a UTI or kidney infection. Any flank pain or burning on urination? But you know in pregnancy due to hormones etc everything gets out of wack. But I would discuss more with PMD for more info. And they would go over the possible reasons or definite reasons for abnormal lab results.

Then again your triglycerides are probably elevated. Cause ldl is your bad cholesterol which you want to be low and hdl is your good cholesterol that you want to be high or fats as they call it in lay people language

Ok, so my baby's heart is perfect. Thank God. But, he has one pelvic kidney. (One kidney is lower than the other.) my doctor said its nothing to worry about, it's just the way his body has begun forming. She said it happens and it's nothing bad. But, of course as soon as I left the office I googled the pelvic kidney-- it said one third of the babies can develop cardiovascular disease.. Anyone have experience with this?? Please post on this and share any experiences!!!! -- I posted that on my page.. Have you heard of a pelvic kidney?

Also, my tri are not high neither is my HDL or LDL, just my cholesterol in normal is at 222. And it shouldn't be more than 199. My ALT- I don't even know what that stands for, is at 40 and it shouldn't be higher than 32 :/ ugh I'm so stressed.

Don't be. Is nothing that's completely off. And never heard of pelvic kidney. Almost sounds like the kidneys is in the pelvic area. ALT is just an enzymes as part of your liver enzymes that's released in your blood. Do you have any liver issues or did you drink excessively in the past? 40 is not terrible. Cause at my hospital we like no higher than 35. Maybe it's meds you're taking. Could be several factors.

And with your chol just modify what you eat and you should be ok. That's not a terrible number either. Don't take meds for that. They love wanting to prescribe statins for high cholesterol. And I feel with proper diet it should go down. @juliannap

It's crazy because I have only have had like 2 drinks in my life and that was over 3 years ago. Im afraid of alcohol! Lol so that's very weird to me. I've NEVER had anything like that, in my life. So it's very odd and nervewrecking to me. I also just take my normal prenatal vitamins and that's it. I'll just send my blood work results over to my OB and see what she says.
