It should be at 28 weeks. I went in for an appointment last week and they made me go back today just because they don't like to do it before 28 weeks. It has to last for the rest of the pregnancy. Just getting the shot took longer than my normal appointments 😂 @jkrout0424
You'll only get it if your blood type is negative. I don't know how to explain exactly why you would have to get it but it's to protect mom and baby just in case the baby has positive blood @ashley154
@jkrout0424, that's weird. My doctor refused to do it before 28 weeks because it has to last the rest of pregnancy. But I'm sure your doctor knows what they are doing lol

i got it done the day i turned 28 weeks. i thought it was gonna be wicked painful but it wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be

The only part that really hurt was when the medicine was injected. It kinda stung but for like 2 seconds @316ftm
