Is anyone a working mom to be?
I got myself a seasonal position, but lately I've been given 40hrs a week (5days) and standing on my feet all day. I am currently 29 weeks 2 days pregnant, and experiencing back pain that wont go away, and leg cramps at night.
My seasonal should be ending soon, but I think I might quit sooner than that because of the physical pain my body is going through, and I would hate to be causing my son any stress from all the standing.
Any opinions!?

My cousin is 36 weeks she just stopped because her baby is big enough for delivery....... And I wanted to work but couldn't find a job! Now she's 8 months I'm ready for work & she's ready for daycare

@redd I hate how in this society women are expected to work up until delivery. I give props to the women who can do it, but I had to quit. My body is tired already

Yeah, she really had no choice Firehouse Subs don't have maternity leave. This is second child working for the company & now she's a GM you would think the company would give her some kind of check whiles she's home on leave but nope! Smh all companies need maternity leave for moms & dads

have you ever considered working from home? once I got pregnant, my husband and I needed extra income. I got involved in selling rodan and fields skin care and its been great!!! let me know if you would want some more info :)

I was a full time working momma with my last pregnancy. On my feet for more then 8 hours a day. Worked all the way until my water actually broke at work!

@shandy69, power to you! I quit 2 weeks ago. For my body it was too much. I still get aches and pains from just doing stuff around the house.

@mummylove, don't feel bad dear! You did what you had to do :) I was down right miserable working that far into my pregnancy but I knew my maternity leave wouldn't start until I went into labor :( & I didn't wanna lose my apartment or car. You will get back on your feet fast ;) & good luck!
