My OBGYN said that you can get better pics if your bladder is full

They usually want you to have a full bladder. They made me have a full bladder for both of by baby's 20 week scans

i was always told to drink a liter of water before every ultrasound and not to pee.

They can see things better with a full bladder because it makes the baby higher.

@jamielynn07, I've always been told to drink a litter of water about 1 hour before my ultrasound, but never anything about bladder full or empty that I can recall.

ok Thank you all! I think the first look at the baby was empty bladder and then the 20 week on was a full bladder. I remember doing it with my son but got the 2 confused.
