I am almost 9 weeks (tomorrow yay). 4 days ago I had a huge gush of blood and went to the hospital right away. they went through tons of tests, the dr came in saw my urine sample and said "wow that is dark". He proceeded to tell me the 1 in 3 miscarriage story and sent me on my marry way. We did find the heartbeat that night at 161 beats per min.
I passed a clot the next day and went back to the hospital. the new Dr. thought I was crazy and I needed to calm down. She pulled a ultrasound machine in and found a heart beat and then made me wait an hour and 10 min for discharge papers. her question to me was if I bleed again what am I going to do. I told her come back. (as if I'm wasting resources and time for something that they can't prevent).
my questions are...
if anyone has bled and carried or is carrying to full term, do you have any advice?
also am I being crazy just for wanting reassurance that my baby is okay? I feel like no matter what stage, this is my baby and I would be devastated if something happened.
thanks for the help in advance

I would be going to the hospital as well. I've been through 2 miscarriages... I would want to make sure my baby is doing ok and still there.

Plus they told me if I see blood again I need to go back. And I went to the ER two weeks ago because I was bleeding vaginally

No you're not being crazy. Like you said you're just wanting to knowing your baby is ok. Id do the same in that situation

yes! call your doctor asap and if it happens again go back no matter what they think! try to book an appointment with your OB as soon as you can and tell them you're having a lot of bleeding. honestly, most ER doctors usually don't have a TON of training when it comes to stuff like that. They told my friend that she was having a threatened miscarriage, there was nothing they could do and the baby wouldn't make it. She carried to full term and baby was healthy!

that's comforting thank you
