I lost my 10 month old son to sids this past June , babies should always be placed on their backs no pillows or blankets in the crib and they shouldn't sleep with the parents unless the parents don't move or roll around in their sleep.

they say to make sure babies room is warm my son loved his blanket and it was a thin blanket and I think the thin blankets are okay @carsonsmommy2016

do not over dress tour baby for bed time...do not use a hand me down mattress for your new baby and absolutely no smoking near the baby I also heard to only lay baby on their side with he or her legs crossed...laying a baby on its back can cause a baby to choke on vomit which is how my baby brother passed

SIDS stands for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. In most cases it can be prevented. Babies should only sleep in there cribs, no blankets till 1 year of age, no pillows, no stuffed toys, no bumper pads. nothing they could accidentally get over their face or roll to and obstruct their air ways. they shouldn't be left in car seats, swings, or bouncy seats to sleep, due to the position there head is in can obstruct their air ways. make sure clothes, sleepers, coats, ect are not to big and baggy. It can be a little unrealistic to follow all the guidelines to prevent SIDS. I'm sure I won't, but thought I would let you know a few things about it

I honestly think the guidelines should be followed, but my baby died, & all he had was a onsie on, nothing at all else.. Laying on his back.. It makes me a bit iffy.. Idk maybe it's just
