Baby should be at least a year

Cows milk should not be introduced before one years old. You can talk to your child's pediatrician about all the details, but it can be really bad for kids to have milk before a year old.

I waited until the day my son turned a year old.

I waited until my babes were a year and slowly substituted oz by oz.

my daughter is about to be 10 months so i wasnt to sure so thanks! when i do start do i give it straight or mix it with formula? @mommmyof1 @queendavis @caydensmommy

yes ex. if baby is eating 6oz formula I started with 5oz formula, 1oz milk for a few days to see if there were any reactions, then 4&2, 3&3... and so on

I put a little formula in the milk for taste, and gradually start putting less formula. @alyssaloveslucy226 . my daughter drinks whole milk, but she likes warm milk :/ IDK why.

and usually they drink 18-24 oz of milk a day when they are one. and you can always substitute a bottle of milk for water or a little watered down juice. @alyssaloveslucy226

My son is almost two and I still add formula when he wants to drink milk. I buy toddler formula. I just do it because he's a really picky eater so the formula gives him the vitamins and nutrients that he may not be getting enough of because of his pickiness. I only add one scoop of formula per sippy cup though.
